Sample Blog: Identity



How do you define yourself as an individual? What factors contribute to your identity? What makes you, you? Look to your right. Look to your left. What makes you different than the person sitting next to you? Try to look beyond physical attributes...

  2. My hair says a lot about who I am I believe. I had curly hair for about 4 years now. Some people like it, some people don't, but i believe it gives me that 1 thing that separates me from my peers. It gives me a sense of self identity because very few people, especially of my race, have it.

  5. I try my hardest to be non-judgemental and am, more often than not, successful. I have strong morals that create my ideas as a person. I work hard to establish a strong sense of self, and in return, I love who I am.

  7. I am different from any other person because of the way I was raised and the things I have experienced. I am different from the people around me because I have been shaped by these things which are things that no one could have experienced in the exact same way as I have.

  9. It seems to be an individual you must do something visually. Not many individuals are considered "individuals" because of their thoughts or ideas.

  11. I just realized I didn't answer the question, but as an individual I try to be nice to all as I mentioned in my Shakespeare quote and what makes me me is that I try to be optimistic in every situation.

  15. I believe what really defines a person, and makes them different from anyone around them is what's inside. We all view the world a little differently, and we all have a different internal monologue going on at the same time. We can wear crazy outfits and say outrageous things, but individuality truly comes from the fact that we can all be in the same place, but never quite thinking the same thing.

  16. When it comes to defining myself, I would have to say i am a very outgoing person. I like to stand out and be noticed because it makes me feel important. What makes me, well me is my personality and the many experiences that have contributed to the development of that personality.
